Beef : 1/2 kg
Onions(big) : 2 nos
(finely sliced)
Vegetable/Corn Oil : 5 tbsp
Curry leaves : 1 stalk
Turmeric powder : A pinch
Pepper powder : 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder : 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder : 1/4 tsp
Ginger paste : 1/4 tsp
Garlic paste : 1/4 tsp
Soya sauce : 2 tbsp
Spring onion : A bunch
(finely chopped)
Salt : As reqd
For marinating::
Coriander powder : 1 1/2 tsp
Chilly powder : 1 tsp
Ginger paste : 3/4 tsp
Garlic paste : 1 tsp
Salt : As reqd
Directions:
1. Cut beef into small pieces. 2. Mix together the ingredients for marinating the beef, along with water to form a paste. 3. Apply it onto the beef pieces and
marinate for 30 mins. 4. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan. 5. Fry the marinated beef, till beef is almost done. Keep this aside. 6. Heat a little oil in a pan. 7. Saute onions, till they turn golden brown. 8. Add pepper powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder, curry leaves and ginger and garlic paste. 9. Saute for 2 mins. 10. Add the fried beef and cook, till beef is done. 11. :- Do not add water. 12. Add spring onions and soya sauce. 13. Mix well and cook for 3 - 4 mins. 14. Add salt to taste. 15. :- Serve hot with indian breads or rice.
