Poor thing, this ofcourse is called Maida Bonda/Mysore Bonda. Why being so picky on her about the name. FYI to all Bonda not necessarily be with filling or with potatos. Give the recipe poster a break. I was just googling through site for Bonda`s infact. Thats the way they call in south india. Well, if someone wants to really pick on this whoever posted it, they can say it says north indian though. Anyways this the way the maida bonda/bhajia is made.

Excellent recipe.....!! Exactly like that I thought. But then, rather than calling this recipe "Bonda with Maida", you should call this "Mysore Bonda".

My Dear recipient why are you saying this Mysore Bonda This is actualy Mangalore Goli bajia.According to mangalre golibaje this is right. If you are saying this as mysore Bonda than its your mistake. For Mysore Bonda onle urad dall (Black gram) is used not maida flour ok. Dont make this mistake againe and spoil the South Indian real taste ok
