  • 1)Beat the eggs along with milk and sugar.
  • 2)Take 1 liter of this beaten milk mixture in a bowl and mix the bread in it very well.
  • 3)To prepare the caramel, put the sugar in a heavy based saucepan and heat. When it gets melted properly and becomes brownish (see to that it is not getting burnt ) pour water and stir it continously. When it reaches a medium consistency, switch off the stove.
  • 3)pour this caramel mixture into a greased bowl now pour the bread mixture carefully,put cashewnuts also in it,then steam this for 20 to 25 minutes, until it is cooked.
  • 4)Take a heavybased saucepan and pour the other half of the beaten milk mixture.
  • 5)Stir it on a very low flame for 20 minutes, until this milk becomes custard.
  • 6)Allow it to cool.
  • 7)Add vanilla essence.
  • 8)Keep both(pudding and custard) in refrigerator.
  • :- Serve cold. Hi friends one easy way to make custard, For this method You will need Milk - 1 litre Cornflour - 2 tbsp Sugar - 1 tbsp Condensed milk - 3 or 4 tbsp Vanilla essence - 2tsp Mix the cornflour with 2 or 3 tbsp of water in a bowl.Boil milk in sauce pan, add the cornflour mixture and sugar into the milk and keep on stirring until it becomes the consistency of custard.keep. cool it for 20 minutes, add condensed milk and vanilla essence. :-Serve cold

    The recipe has not been drafted properly. Where have you used the eggs? You beat 1 the egg till light. Mix 1 1/2 cup milk, 3 tbsp sugar and mashed bread slices to it. Add a drop of vanilla essence and steam. Custard is made by boiling milk and adding sugAar to it. Then add the beaten egg yolk and vanilla essence to it. This could be best done in a double boiler. Pour custard over steamed bread mix and serve garnish with raisins and finely julienned almonds.
