Water : 4 cups
Salt : 1/4 cup
Cajun seasoning : 1 tbsp
Baking powder : 2 tsp
Salt : to taste
Fresh ground black pepper : to taste
Saturated oil : 1:2 cups
(for frying)
Corn starch : 1/2 cup
To make Cajun seasoning:
Salt : 1/4 cup
(regular
sea salt or kosher)
Chili powder : 1/4 cup
Garlic : 2 tbsp
(powdered)
Onion : 2 tbsp
(pasted)
Black pepper : 1 tbsp
Dried basil : 1 tbsp
Dried oregano : 1 tbsp
Red pepper : 1 tsp
Dried thyme : 2 tsp
(Mix all these ingredients to make the cajun seasoning)
