  • 1)Cook green gram(whole) with salt and keep aside.
  • 2)Grind together 2 onions, ginger and garlic.
  • 3)Heal oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • 4)Add cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, perinjeerakam and allow them to splutter.
  • 5)Add onion-garlic-ginger paste and saute, till light brown.
  • 6)Add tomato puree and mix well.
  • 7)Add chilly powder, coriander powder, chicken masala, salt and saute.
  • 8)Add the cooked cherupayar and allow it to boil.
  • 9)Once it starts boiling, add milk and let boil for a min.
  • 10)Garnish Cherupayar Curry with curry leaves or coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve Cherupayar Curry hot with chappathis.
