  • 1)For preparing chicken in green peas gravy, grind onion, garlic and ginger to a smooth paste.
  • 2)Marinate the chicken pieces with salt, pepper and 1 tbsp of onion paste.
  • 3)Fry the chicken pieces on both the sides till golden brown.
  • 4)Take a pressure cooker and heat oil. Fry the balance onion paste for some time.
  • 5)Add turmeric powder, tomato puree, chilly powder and garam masala. Fry well.
  • 6)Put in the green peas, potatoes, water and salt. Allow it to cook till done.
  • 7)Remove the pressure cooker lid and add in the fried chicken pieces. Allow it to boil for some time.
  • 8)Garnish with coriander leaves and lime juice.
  • 9)Chicken in green peas gravy is ready, Serve hot with chapatti.
