  • 1)Marinate the chicken pieces with the ingredients for marination for 10 mins.
  • 2)Heat oil in a wok.
  • 3)Add ginger and garlic.
  • 4)When it is slightly brown, add the chicken with the marinade and fry for 4 mins.
  • 5)Add the drained rice and the mushrooms and fry, till the rice is opaque.
  • 6)Transfer the chicken rice mix to a claypot.
  • 7)Add 4 cups of water and sufficient amount of salt.
  • 8)Cook it on fire, till the water is almost gone and you can see the bubbles on the rice surface.
  • 9)Remove from fire.
  • 10)Heat oven to 150 degree and place the clay pot in the oven for 15 mins.
  • 11)Garnish with spring onions.
  • :- Serve hot.
