  • 1)Heat 2 tsp of ghee in a pan.
  • 2)Fry moong dal for 3-5 minutes.
  • 3)Pressure cook moong dal with enough water, turmeric powder, carrot, beans, curry leaves and ginger.
  • 4)Add oil in a pan and once hot add mustard seeds.
  • 5)Once it splutters add cumin seeds and once it crackles add curry leaves.
  • 6)Add finely chopped onions and saute until raw smell goes off.
  • 7)To this add cooked moong dal and add salt to taste.
  • 8)Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Add water as per required consistency.
  • 9)Garnish with coriander leaves and squeeze in lemon at the end.
