    :
  • 1)Clean the fish and cut into 1 inch pieces.
  • 2)Crush the red chillies with garlic and keep it aside.
  • 3)Slice the onion thinly.
  • 4)Cut the green chillies lengthwise.
  • 5)Chop the ginger.
  • 6)Put the oil in a cooking pan and sautT the onions and green chillies for five minutes.
  • 7)Then, add the crushed pepper, garlic and ginger. Fry for 3 minutes until the smell of chillies come out.
  • 8)Add the coconut milk, turmeric powder and let it boil.
  • 9)Then, add the fish and salt. Cook well.
  • 10)Next, add the tomato pieces and cook for 5 minutes.
  • 11)Finally, add the lemon juice and curry leaves to Fish Molly.
  • :-Serve Fish Molly hot with rice and bread.

    This is an excellent recipe. So different from the usual fish curries. Kudos to you !! Also like to add that adding half the amount of red chillies was sufficient enough for a spicey flavour.

    The curry is delicious.I tried the same recipe with a slight addition of half tsp of meat masala to the garlic -chilli mix and came out really good.thanx 4 the recipe .

    i looked at this recipes because of two reasons (1)people talk about iso often(i was curious) (2)the second part of the dish is my name ,anyway i was not disappointed ,it is an excellent dish, congrats to you pinky.

    the recipee comes out excellent if the fish prices are fried a bit before making the curry, not deep fried but just fried prior to making the curry.......

    If you half fry the fish before adding to gravy, it will be better..

    dont add this under any category of fish molly.give some other name.usually fish is fried before it is added with the gravy.

    This recipe was good except for the fact that you have to fry the fish first. I made it for my in-laws and the fish was not fried and the curry was too think. They did not like it, I felt stupid. Maybe also using the water part of the cocconut milk will help.

    Generally,in fish molly u dont add tamarind. Istead, try adding vinegar and fry the fish pieces for abt 5mins along with the onion and other ingredients as mentioned.

    The onion must be cooked with the second milk so u get the sweet taste,(the dish is not a spicy one) the dish is finished with the first milk, for the thickness,tomato is used only for garnish
