  • 1)Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • 2)Add green chilly paste followed by grated onion, tomato, ginger paste, garlic paste, curry leaves, tamarind paste, chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and pepper powder.
  • 3)Saute well till onion and tomato blends well.
  • 4)Add salt and mix well.
  • 5)Add 1 1/2 cups of boiled water and allow it to boil.
  • 6)Allow it to boil for 2 - 3 mins.
  • 7)Add fish and cook for 5 mins.
  • 8)Top it with 1 tsp of coconut oil.

    Very Nice and delicious... Only one thing to point out...there is no fish named `promphet`(mistake?). Actually it is "Pomphret" also called "Silver Pomphret".Thanks.
