  • 1)Remove the skin of potato and slice into squares.
  • 2)Slice the onion into thin sections.
  • 3)Slit the green chillies lengthwise.
  • :- Depending on hotness required, u can increase / decrease no. of chillies.
  • 4)Slice the ginger into thin sections.
  • :- You can add half of a tomato sliced for tanginess, if u like.
  • 5)Pressure cook the above ingredients with salt and just sufficient water or second milk extract of coconut.
  • 6)Meanwhile, extract coconut milk from the grated coconut.
  • 7)After opening the lid of the cooker, add the coconut milk.
  • :- The milk should have sufficient thickness as the gravy should not be too watery.
  • :- Don`t allow this to boil.
  • 8)Simmer for 2 minutes on low flame.
  • 9)Switch off the stove.
  • 10)Season it with coconut oil, curry leaves and coriander leaves.
