  • 1)Cook kadala with 2 cups of water, turmeric powder and chilly powder in a cooker.
  • 2)Meanwhile heat/oil-fry grated coconut with coriander powder until golden brown.
  • 3)Remove from flame. Allow it to cool and grind coconut and keep it aside.
  • 4)In another pan, saute chopped onion and tomato for 5 minutes. Add 2 tsp of chicken masala. Add salt as required. Add water and allow it to cook.
  • 5)Once cooked add chick pea and ground coconut and let it boil for 5 min.
  • 6)Once done take another kadai and heat oil. Splutter mustard seeds. When it splutters, add curry leaves and dry chillies.
  • 7)You may have this with puttu and chappathi. Its' a spicy curry.
