  • 1)Cut the potatoes into one inch long pieces.
  • 2)Add chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt to the sliced potatoes and keep for 5 minutes.
  • 3)Heat oil in a pan. (Preferably nonstick pan with wide base so that we can reduce the amount of oil needed)
  • 4)When the oil is hot, add the curry leaves and the sliced onion.
  • 5)When the onion is half cooked, add the marinated potatoes into the pan.
  • 6)Stir in between so that it wont stick to the pan.
  • 7)Cook in medium heat until the potatoes become crispy.
  • :- Do not add water while cooking.
  • :- Very good combination with rice and kachiya moru.
