    to make Kerala Style Egg Masala
    :
  • 1)Boil eggs and make slits using a knife and keep aside.
  • 2)Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • 3)Splutter mustard seeds.
  • 4)Add onions and saute, till they become tender.
  • 5)Add masala, chilly powder, tomato ketchup and salt.
  • 6)Add little water and mix well.
  • 7)Cook for 5 mins or until gravy becomes thick.
  • 8)Add eggs and mix well.
  • :- Serve with appam, chappathis, idiappams etc.

    this was good. I added extra mustard seeds though . it was all mustard seedy.but I could taste it in between all the extra mustards. it was great !!!

    Good Job Lakshmi!! The recipe came out really well. Its time saving and delicious. Adding half of a capsicum while sautéing the onion will add more taste to the dish.

    I added a bit ginger and garlic .. it tasted gr8 .. and mixing small amount of corn starch in warm water will give thicker gravy ...
