    to make Kerala Style Vegetable Cutlet

  • 1)Grate the cabbage and carrot.
  • 2)Cook the potatoes in a pressure cooker with skin on.
  • 3)When the potatoes are cooked, peel off the skin and mash.
  • 4)Heat enough oil in pan to saute the onions.
  • 5)Saute the onion and chillies till cooked.
  • 6)Add the cabbage and carrot to this mixture.
  • 7)Keep stirring until the veggies are cooked and tender.
  • 8)Add the potatoes to this mixture.
  • 9)Add salt, pepper and garam masala.
  • 10)When cooled, form mixture into small balls.
  • 11)Dip in eggs or a mixture of flour and water (for the vegetarians).
  • 12)Roll the balls in bread crumbs.
  • 13)Fry in heated oil till golden brown.
  • :- Well cutlets are hard to make, what did you expect, it take time, but few ingredients.
