  • 1)Heat 2 - 3 tbsp of oil in a fry pan or kadai.
  • 2)Add chopped onions, green chillies, curry leaves, cloves and cardamom and fry for 2 - 3 minutes on medium flame.
  • 3)Add ginger and garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes on low flame.
  • 4)Mix coriander powder with little water and make a paste. Add it to the frying mixture and fry for 3 minutes on medium flame.
  • 5)Add ground cashewnuts and raisins.
  • 6)Add mixed vegetables and mix well with the masala.
  • 7)Pour two cups of water and salt into it.
  • 8)Cover with a lid and let it cook, approximately 15- 20 minutes.
  • 9)Stir intermittently.
  • 10)Add coconut milk and bring it to boil.
  • 11)Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :- It`s a medium thick gravy preparation.
  • :- Serve hot with chappathis/rotis.

    i tried this recipe . it came out very nice and all my family liked it.i added extra chillies to make it bit more hot. worth trying.
