well, i`ve read all the comments and decided to make it. I added all the spices in a double quantity because of the person i made this for and it turned out to be very tasty, spicy though. I didn`t add the water to this stew, but the liquid, which i was boiling meat in at first, i wanted the taste of lemon to be strong. Thank you for the wonderful resipe, we enjoyed! I will definetely cook it again!

I tried this recipe after reading all the positive comments and it came out good. It wasn`t very extra-ordinairy but it was definetely tasty. I thought the two step process was a little complicated (cook mutton in a pot and then frying separately but I managed it OK). The only thing I did different in this recipe is; I added 1 1/2 teaspoon more of Mutton Masala and instead of adding 1 cup coconut milk, I just added half a cup which was plenty. Overall, I would give this recipe a "B" grade. It had a nice, mild, Kerala style curry taste! Thanks!
