    to make Naadan Green Peas Curry

  • 1)Soak peas overnight.
  • 2)Place peas, ginger, garlic, onion, chillies, tomato, coriander powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, water and salt in a pressure cooker.
  • 3)Pressure cook upto 7 - 8 whistles or about 10 mins.
  • 4)Allow it to cool for a while.
  • 5)Open the cooker and place it on fire.
  • 6)Add coconut milk, cardamom powder and cloves powder.
  • 7)Add water, if needed.
  • 8)Allow it to boil.
  • 9)Add curry leaves and coconut oil.
  • :- Serve hot with appam, dosa, chappathi etc.

    when would u add the mushrooms. i am guessing, you could add the powders and mix the mushrooms with a little oil,and then add the coconut milk. this would allow the flavours to sink in the main veggies and the coconut milk can be added to bring in the thick essence of the dish. adding tomatoes before adding the coconut milk would also make the taste better. just a suggestion.
