Pineapple Curry

Ingredients

(cut small pieces)
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Curd - 2 tbsp

DIRECTIONS

1. Cook pineapple pieces along with chilly powder, turmeric powder, green chillies, sugar and salt.
2. Grind together coconut, cumin seeds and curd.
3. Once pineapple is cooked and becomes soft, add the coconut paste and cook for 5 - 10 minutes.
4. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
5. Add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add red chillies and curry leaves.
6. Pour this seasoning into the above curry.
7. :- Serve with rice, pulao or biriyani.

This is the 4th year I am cooking the pineapple with this recepie. It is the best. My children and guest love it. Make this link more visible in searches on pineapple dishes/general curry section.

1.when you add sugar first proper cooking will no take place.2.after adding the coconut -curd paste,should not cook for more than 2 minutes ,if you cook for more time curry will split separate with water content
