  • 1)Heat oil in pan.
  • 2)Add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add curry leaves.
  • 3)Add onion, ginger and garlic and saute, till it starts to change colour.
  • 4)Add the prawns and green chillies. Fry for sometime.
  • 5)Add beans and fry further.
  • 6)Add 2 tbsp of water and cover the pan and cook.
  • 7)Handmix grated coconut with coriander powder, cumin powder and a little water(to soften).
  • 8)Add this to the pan.
  • 9)Cover and cook for some more time. Mix well.

    This recipe came out very well and it goes well with rice and curry. I did not add water as some water comes out of the shrimp.

    Thanks for this recipe! But there`s one doubt. Should one not marinate the prawns before frying?

    It`s a tasty dish but very poor listing of ingredients. Mustard seeds and curry leaves are not even mentioned in the list of ingredients.
