  • 1)For preparing quail/kaada roast, rub salt and pepper powder in quail.
  • 2)Slightly fry it in oil and keep aside.
  • 3)Crush shallots, pepper corns, ginger, garlic, cumin and fennel seeds. Just give a pulse.
  • 4)Heat oil in a pan, add onion and fry it. Add crushed shallot mixture and green chilies.
  • 5)Fry well. Add coriander powder, chilly powder and turmeric. Add salt and fry it.
  • 6)Add the quail and fry again.
  • 7)Add coriander leaves and tomato on top.
  • 8)Cover and cook.
  • 9)Make it a semi masala.
  • 10)Quail/Kaada roast is ready.
