  • 1)Soak the sago in water for an hour.
  • 2)Boil it in water.
  • 3)Stir constantly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan, until it becomes translucent.
  • 4)Lower the heat and leave it for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • 5)Heat the ghee in a pan.
  • 6)Fry the cashew nuts & cardamom pods in it.
  • 7)Add vermicelli and fry until golden brown.
  • 8)Add this to the boiling sago.
  • 9)Add sugar, milk & raisins.
  • 10)Stir for few minutes until the sugar dissolves.
  • :-Serve hot.
