  • 1)Clean chicken and cut into small pieces.
  • 2)Heat oil in a pan.
  • 3)Add green chillies(cut into two halves) and saute for few mins. Keep it aside.
  • 4)In the same pan, add small onions and saute for few mins.
  • 5)Add cinnamom, cloves, cardamom, aniseeds, cumin seeds, poppy seeds and pepper corns one by one and fry them for few mins.
  • 6)Add turmeric and coriander powder and saute.
  • 7)Finally, add coconut and a few coriander leaves.
  • 8)Switch off the flame.
  • 9)Allow it to cool.
  • 10)Grind it along with green chillies into a fine paste.
  • 11)Cut big onion and tomato into small pieces.
  • 12)Heat oil in a pan.
  • 13)Add onion, ginger-garlic paste and fry until it turns golden brown.
  • 14)Add curry leaves.
  • 15)Add tomato and saute till it blends well.
  • 16)Add masala paste and saute for 10 minutes.
  • 17)Add chicken pieces.
  • 18)Cover and cook on low flame till chicken cooks.
  • :- There is no need to add water. If u want, u can add some water to masala that remains in mixer grinder and add that water to chicken and cook.
  • 19)Garnish with coriander leaves.
