  • 1)Roast all masala ingredients one by one till nice aroma comes from it(for about 1/2 a min).
  • 2)Allow it to cool and then, grind it without adding water.
  • 3)Cut onion and mushroom lengthwise.
  • 4)Heat oil in the pan or a kadai.
  • 5)Splutter mustard seeds, black gram and saute curry leaves.
  • 6)Add onion and fry till it turns light brown.
  • 7)Add the mushroom and frozen peas.
  • 8)Add the masala powder and salt.
  • 9)Lower the flame, cover and cook for about 10 mins.
  • 10)Meanwhile, grind the coconut to a smooth paste with little water.
  • 11)Add the coconut paste into the pan and cook it for 15 mins.
  • 12)Garnish with coriander leaves.
