Tamil Nadu Style Vegetable Pulao

Ingredients

Rice - 1 cup
(no need for extra
as veggies will leave some water)
Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 1" piece
Bay leaf(Karuga ela) - 1 no (optional)
Small red chilly - 1 no
or
Green chilly - 1 no
Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Frozen vegetables or fresh vegies of our choice - 1/4 pack

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a rice cooker.
2. Fry onion, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, chillies, mint and garlic until aromatic for about 2 mins.
3. Add the rice, water, veggies, saffron and salt.
4. Close the cooker and let it cook until it turns off to (Keep Warm÷.
