  • 1)Add turmeric powder and mutton to 8 cups of water in a pan.
  • 2)Bring to boil on a low flame, until the water reduces to 4 cups.
  • 3)Add cumin seeds powder, pepper powder & salt.
  • 4)Cover and boil for 2 mins.
  • 5)Mix corn flour with 1/4 cup of water and pour the mix into the soup.
  • 6)Heat oil in a pan.
  • 7)Fry the shallots, until they turn golden brown.
  • 8)Pour it into the soup.
  • 9)Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve hot.
  • :- This recipe can be used with chicken too.

    hi, cath this soup is really tasty!!!!i tried it once it came out nice.....my frnds told me 2 tell them this dish........but it`s a secret u know!!!my relatives liked more than me.............they told me 2 say the ingredients...ur soup is delicious,really!!!!mouth-watering......this is the first tine iam tryiny out a mutton soup you know????i was scared how it will turn out.........but exellent with ur help

    Hi I tried your recipe… It came out well. I have the following comments … 1. The thickness of the soup can be determined only by trial and error…so add small quantity of corn flour mixture in the beginning and add more as desired. 2. Crush the bone’s (rib’s) with meat to small pieces (at least 1/4” pieces). 3. Treat the leg, thigh and elbow bones different. Make sure you slit a small end of the bone without letting the marrow ooze out completely. 4. Make sure the length of the bones wont exceed the serving bowl!!! 5. At least imagine the tradition of the guest who is going to have the dish. Decorations and final flavorings go on that way! (Asparagus / Onion Shoots/ Cumin leaves/ etc…) 6. Moreover the vessel you make this soup affects the taste a lot. (Still experimenting … will update you ASAP) With Nice Taste Buds, Binesh
