  • 1)Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • 2)Splutter mustard seeds.
  • 3)Add onions and sautT till it turns golden brown.
  • 4)Add green chillies, ginger, shallot pieces and curry leaves and fry for a few minutes.
  • 5)Add tomato pieces and mix well.
  • 6)Add salt and fish masala. Stir well.
  • 7)Add water and allow it to boil.
  • 8)When it boils, add the fish pieces and cover it.
  • 9)Cook on low-medium heat.
  • :- Serve hot without breaking the fish pieces.

    It sounds delicious,but before I try cooking it, can sardines in tomato sauce be used or should I just use plain tinned sardines.Thanks
