Onions - 6 nos(finely chopped)


Step 1. For preparing ulli vada, mix thinly sliced onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, chilly powder, gram flour, maida, salt and water to make a thick sticky batter.
Step 2. Heat oil in a frying pan.
Step 3. Scoop the mixture and fry it on low flame till it becomes golden brown and crispy.
Step 4. Ulli vada is ready. Serve hot with ketchup.
