  • 1)For preparing ulli vada, mix thinly sliced onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, chilly powder, gram flour, maida, salt and water to make a thick sticky batter.
  • 2)Heat oil in a frying pan.
  • 3)Scoop the mixture and fry it on low flame till it becomes golden brown and crispy.
  • 4)Ulli vada is ready. Serve hot with ketchup.
