Ingredients

Raw bananas - 6 nos
Green chilies - 6 nos
Garlic pods - 2 nos
Red onion(Kunulli) - 1 no
Sesame seeds(Ellu) - 10 gm

DIRECTIONS

Step 1. Peel and cut the banana into cubes and wash them well.
Step 2. Grind together green chillies, turmeric, coconut, garlic and onion.
Step 3. Add 1 cup of water and cook bananas till nearly dry.
Step 4. Add salt.
Step 5. Add ground ingredients to cooked bananas. Allow steam to pass through.
Step 6. Mix well and check the seasonings.
Step 7. Heat oil and crackle sesame seeds, add curry leaves and fry them for a second.
Step 8. Transfer the cooked bananas to a serving dish and temper with the sesame seeds and curry leaves.

There is no need to cook plantain in water .u can put all the ingredients together with plantain and sprinkle some water on top and keep the lid over the vessel and cook.
