  • 1)Wash and soak Basmati rice.
  • 2)Leave the rice to drain. Keep aside the drained water.
  • 3)Evenly chop the carrots, beans and broccoli.
  • 4)Add the peas and baby corn into it.
  • 5)Heat oil in a large pan. Add the chopped vegetables, with cinnamon and bay leaves and fry for 5 minutes.
  • 6)Now, add the drained rice and fry for another 3 minutes.
  • 7)Add the drained water and salt to taste.
  • 8)Cover and cook until the rice is done.
  • :-Serve hot.

    It was reaally nice and I made slight changes by adding onions,cloves cardamom and green chillies.Everybody should try this recipe becoz it is simple and tasty.Thank u.

    I tried this recipe. My husband liked it! easy to make and tastes great! The cinnamon gave the rice a nice taste and smell also! I would reccomend this recipe!
