  • 1)For preparing vepillai katti, first wash the curry leaves and lemon leaves.
  • 2)Pat dry. Remove the stem from the lemon leaves.
  • 3)In a mixer, dry grind the lemon leaves and curry leaves. Add tamarind, ajwain, red chillies, salt and blend again.
  • 4)Do not add water.
  • 5)Take it as a small ball.
  • 6)Can be preserved in fridge.
  • 7)Vepillai katti is ready.

    This is one of my all time favorite! I miss them now, too bad i cant get lemon leaves in US..

    vepillai means neem this recipe i dont find it..sorry to say but...either name given is wrong or lack of information..
