The milk quantity is required to be high in order to evaporate which adds the milky cream to the boiling carrot, to get the extra taste of the dish at the final stage. Use full cream milk gives more taste then the skimmed milk. Watch out, this dish is rated as high calorie for your intake.

Very poorly written recipe. Too much milk is included, I had to evaporate so much off before the mixture would thicken.
