Ingredients for Cherupayar Cutlet Recipe
Cherupayar(Green gram) - 1 cup
Potato - 3 nos
Onion - 1 no
(chopped finely)
Ginger - 1" piece
(chopped finely)
Green chillies - 2 - 3 nos
(chopped finely)
Curry leaves - A few
Salt - As reqd
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Egg - 1 no
(beaten)
Bread slices - 2 - 3 nos(optional)
Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
oil for frying

Preparation Method of Cherupayar Cutlet Recipe
1)Boil the potatoes and cherupayar separately.

2)Saute onions in a pan.

3)Add ginger, green chillies, curry leaves and cooked cherupayar-potato.

4)Mash and mix well.

5)Add salt.

6)Sprinkle pepper powder if required.

7)Add and mash the bread if there is more water in the mix.

:- Adding bread gives a good taste also.

8)Flatten the mix into desired shapes.

9)Dip the mix in beaten egg, roll in bread crumbs and deep fry in oil.

:- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
