Ingredients for Button Mushroom Thoran Recipe
Button Mushroom - 1 punnet(a small light basket or container)
Onion(medium) – 1 no(chopped fine)
Ginger(shredded) - 1 tsp
Green chillies – 2 nos(sliced thinly)
Curry leaves - 1 sprig(sliced thinly)
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Coconut(shredded) - 3 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp

Preparation Method of Button Mushroom Thoran Recipe
1)Slice the mushrooms into medium pieces.

2)Heat oil in a pan and temper the mustard seeds. Add onions, ginger, curry leaves and green chillies. Saute till the onions are translucent.

3)Stir in mushrooms and cook in medium heat for about 4 minutes.

4)Add the turmeric, coriander, cumin, shredded coconut and garam masala powder.

5)Keep stirring till the masalas are fragrant and blended with the mushrooms.

6)Close the pan with a lid for 2 minutes or till the mushrooms are tender.
:- There should be enough moisture in the mushroom. If not lower the flame.

7)Remove from heat and serve hot.
