Ingredients for Shrikhand Recipe
Milk - 3 litres
Sugar - 250-300 gm
Saffron - 2 pinches
Cardamom(Elakka) powder - 1 tsp
Almonds(Badam) (chopped) - 4-5 nos
Pistachios(Pista) (chopped) - 4-5 nos

Preparation Method of Shrikhand Recipe
1)Boil and cool the milk till warm.

2)Set the warm milk into curd.

3)When firmly set, spread onto a thin muslin cloth and hang till all the water has drained out completely. This takes about 5-6 hours. The curd should be dry and grainy.

4)Smoothen out this mixture with a spoon or spatula.

5)Add sugar and beat well till it attains a creamy texture.

6)Soak the saffron in warm milk and stir into the sugar-yoghurt mixture.

7)Add the cardamom powder.

8)Garnish with almond and pista slivers.

:- Serve chilled.
