Medically, clove finds application as carminative, aromatic and stimulant. Clove oil possesses antibiotic and antiseptic properties and finds application in dentistry, oral and pharyngeal treatments.

Potassium, manganese, iron, selenium and magnesium

Culinery and Other Values :

Clove is used for culinary purposes and the flavor blends well with both sweet and savory dishes. In Indonesia, used in production of 'kretek' cigarettes. Also cloves are used in production of toothpastes, mouthwashes, soaps and perfumes.
