Pomegranate fruit rind finds application medically in chronic dysentry and diarrhoea. The pulp and seeds are stomachic and used as laxarive. The flower buds are used in bronchitis.

Nutrient Value :

good source of vitamin C, potassium, fiber. Low in calories.

Culinery and Other Values :

Pomegranate seed dried with pulp is used as spice in dishes. The fruit juice is cooling and refrigerant.
