Soak rice in water for 1 hour.
Drain and keep it aside.
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker.
Add onion, garlic and ginger and fry well.
Add all masala powders and saute well.
Add green chillies and tomato and saute.
Add all vegetables and fry well.
Add rice and fry for 5 mins.
Add 5 glasses of water and salt.
Close the pressure cooker with the lid.
When the steam starts to come straight from the nozzle, put the whistle on and switch off the gas.
Open the lid after 10 mins.
Add coriander leaves.
Sprinkle cashews and raisins fried in ghee.
Garnish with split hard boiled eggs.
Excellent easy recipe, tasty biriyani in 10 minutes.

I took more than 10 minutes to make this !!! but it was indeed very tasty ... i used sona massori rice instead of basmati..so the water was too much .. awesome though!

It was awesome!!!! One thing I did different was, I removed tomato and added fine diced bell pepper (capsicum) and fried along with other veggies....WOW ... what an aroma. This is an wonderful dish. Thanks!!!!

As reqd means add the mentioned ingredients according to your tastes. :) so which means that u can add garam masala and chilly powder and salt accdg to ur own taste and not accdg to others` measurements which may not necessarily suit ur tastebuds.
