Ingredients

Directions

Step 1

Marinate the washed chicken with curd, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt and refrigerate overnight or 3 hours.

Step 2

Heat up a pan.

Step 3

Add the marinated chicken directly on medium flame.

Step 4

Cover and cook for about 15 mins or till the chicken is cooked.

Step 5

:- Do not worry since it will not catch the pan beneath.

Step 6

Add ajinomotto and the optional food colour, only if you would like a bright appearance.

Step 7

Melt butter in a frying pan.

Step 8

Add the chillies and curry leaves and fry, till the curry leaves become dry.

Step 9

Add this mixture on top of the chicken on flame and mix well.

Step 10

Place them on a serving dish.

Step 11

Garnish with a strand of coriander.

After the marination and adding all leaves stuff, it`s still watery. Why is that? okay, I dried the water by keeping for another 20 mts. Again what? It`s not dried and fried. It`s just like cooked chicken and no taste !! Finally to save it, I fried it in oil. Now it tastes like fried chicken, except it`s sour!! Folks - don`t try this and waster your time, unless you really learn it from somone who tried it successfully. It may turn good, but I guess it`s missing some steps when you cook it.

Wow! What an awesome recipe. Easy yet very tasty! I marinated it for about 7 hrs and the result was unbelievable. my variation : 1 tsp of garam masala. I would urge everyone to try this!!!

This is a real bad recipe. I tried with few friends over, none of them liked it. I noticed too much left over chicken on all of their plates. It was embarressing...............Don`t make it for any party.

Achayo adi polli this is a cool dish both on the calorie side as well as the taste only problem its hard to resist and to stop eating with a specific amount change servings from 5 to 2 or 3 anyway keep it up and the smell of the dish is really exotic
