Step 1

For preparing adzuki beans in coconutty flavor, mix gram flour with a little water to make a smooth paste.

Step 2

Add the chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, mustard powder, turmeric powder and salt.

Step 3

Then add a little water and mix the ingredients. Keep this spice paste aside.

Step 4

Heat the oil in a kadai and fry the curry leaves and the cumin seeds.

Step 5

Add the spice paste and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes. Add a little water if required.

Step 6

Toss in the soaked adzuki beans. Cover and cook in low flame till the adzuki beans become tender.

Step 7

Pour in the coconut milk and lemon juice. Mix well.

Step 8

Adzuki beans in coconutty flavor is ready.
