Directions

Step 1

Soak Chana dal 3 hours before.

Step 2

Take one handful of chana dal separately & then grind the remaining dal into a paste.

Step 3

Cut onion, chilly and coriander leaves into small pieces.

Step 4

Mix together the ground paste, soaked chana dal and all the other ingredients.

Step 5

Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.

Step 6

Make small balls off the above mixture and then pat it on the top into patties.

Step 7

Fry, until they turn golden brown.

Step 8

:- Serve hot with tomato sauce.

This snack is yummmmy ! My husband too, liked it very much. I put the left over vadas in rasam & the rasa vadas were really tasty.
