Step 1

Soak the greengram over night.

Step 2

Wash thoroughly.

Step 3

Add ginger and cumin seeds.

Step 4

Pulvarise into smooth dough.

Step 5

Add salt.

Step 6

Taka a pan, put 2 - 3 spoons of oil each time and prepare pancakes (pesarattus) of the dough.

Step 7

Cut the pancakes into 2" square pieces and keep them aside.

Step 8

Take a frying pan, add oil and warm.

Step 9

Add small onions, green chillies, peeled garlic bulbs, curry leaves and sufficient salt.

Step 10

Mix well and add the pesarattu pieces and red chilli powder.

Step 11

Add water and allow to simmer on medium flame.

Step 12

:- If like to add tomato, add tomato pieces along with other ingredients.
