Step 1

For preparing pork vindaloo, clean the pork and cut it into pieces. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pressure cooker and fry onions till it becomes transparent.

Step 3

Then add the ginger-garlic paste and fry well.

Step 4

Once it fries well, add chilly powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and salt. Mix it well.

Step 5

Add the tomatoes and fry it well till the oil separates.

Step 6

Then put the potatoes, pork and required water in it. Close the lid with the whistle.

Step 7

Allow it to cook for 4 whistles or till the pork is cooked.

Step 8

Once the pork is cooked remove the lid.

Step 9

Allow it to boil.

Step 10

Garnish with pepper, coriander leaves and vinegar.

Step 11

Pork vindaloo is ready. Serve hot with rice, bread, paratha etc.
