Marinate the chicken with the garlic-ginger paste, curd and the freshly grounded spices and salt for 1 hr.
Heat 5 tbsp of olive oil(or veg oil or canola oil) in a deep frying pan.
Add the marinated chicken.
Wait, till all the water from the chicken is evaporated and brown the chicken in the oil.
:- This would take about 10 - 15 mins.
Add 2 tbsp of butter.
Add the sauteed onions and stir for 5 mins.
Add tomatoes and capsicum.
:- Add these ingredients only after all the water has been evaporated.
Add salt if needed more(Be aware of the saltiness of the soya sauce added later).
Once the tomatoes blend well, add the ketchup and soya sauce.
Stir fry, till you see the oil separating from the sides of the pan.
Simmer for 10 mins i.e till the chicken is fully cooked.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
;- Serve hot with rice or bread.

Hi,Am a newyorker,residing in Pleasantville.My colleague who`s an Indian,gave me this website.I gave it to my newly cookery-inspired daughter who`s 16.She came across this receipe....and wanted my help....though my job was hectic....i couldnt find an indian store anywhere near our residence,so had to ask my colleague to help me out with the spices.Finally,the day came...and i was so impressed and proud of my daughter!!!!Though,ALL THE GRATITUDE GOES TO LINDA,OFCOURSE!!!This was an amazing dish....it jus enlightened my taste buds and i could go on eating till it was all over!!!!Definitely my daughter is a better cook than my wife!!!!!(giggles)
