Step 1

Boil potatoes in cooker with salt and little turmeric powder and cut them into medium sized cubes.

Step 2

Take avil in a strainer and wash with cold water 2 times. Keep aside for water to drip.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan or kadai.

Step 4

Splutter the mustard seeds.

Step 5

Add the chopped garlic and saute till it turns light brown.

Step 6

Add green chillies, turmeric powder, chilly powder and salt and stir.

Step 7

Add the onions and fry for sometime till it becomes golden brown.

Step 8

Add the cut potatoes and fry for few minutes till all the ingredients get mixed well.

Step 9

Add the washed powa(avil) and mix well.

Step 10

Sprinkle a little water and close with a lid.

Step 11

Cook on low flame for about 4 - 5 mins stirring in between.

Step 12

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Step 13

:- Serve hot.
