Step 1

For preparing ayala thoran, cook fish with turmeric powder, chilly powder, gambooge, little salt and required water.

Step 2

Crush the ingredients for grinding.

Step 3

Saute mustard, chillies and urad daal in oil.

Step 4

Add red onion and curry leaves.

Step 5

Add turmeric and chilly powder. Add the crushed coconut mixture and saute well.

Step 6

Add the minced fish and fry well.

Step 7

Ayala thoran is ready.
