Step 1

For preparing baked mutton leg, make deep cuts on the mutton leg. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Take a bowl, add in chilly powder, garlic, ginger, garam masala, pepper powder, lime juice, curd, saffron and salt. Mix it well and marinate the mutton leg over night(6 to 7 hours).

Step 3

Grind raisins, almonds and grated coconut with a little water to a fine paste.

Step 4

Apply this paste and a little butter on the mutton.

Step 5

Bake it in the oven at 190 degrees celsius for 45 minutes.

Step 6

Baked mutton leg is ready. Serve for parties or family get together.
