Step 1

For the dough:
1)For preparing baked prawn snacks, knead maida, baking powder, ghee and salt with required water till the dough becomes soft. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Meanwhile, blend green chillies, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, salt, peppercorns and cloves. Keep it aside.

Step 3

Mix together the finely chopped prawns and the above mixture.

Step 4

Heat oil in a vessel and sautT the onions till it becomes brown in colour.

Step 5

Add in the prawn mixture and fry it well.

Step 6

Pour in the vinegar and required water. Remove it from the flame when the water evaporates and allow it to cool.

Step 7

Divide the dough into small even-sized balls.

Step 8

Spread them on greased aluminum foil to make a round shape like chappathi. Fill it with prawn stuffing and cover with remaining dough.

Step 9

Seal the edges and brush the top with beaten egg yolk to give it a glazed finish.

Step 10

Bake in a baking tray till it becomes light brown.

Step 11

Baked prawn snacks are ready.
