Step 1

For preparing banana flower vada, soak bengal gram dal in water for half an hour.

Step 2

Drain and grind with green chillies, cumin seeds and half of cleaned banana flower.

3)Mix this mixture with finely chopped coriander, curry leaves and remaining banana flower.

Step 3

Add salt and rice flour and mix them well. Make the vada in the shape of small balls.

Step 4

Deep fry in oil until it becomes golden brown in color.

Step 5

Banana flower vada is ready. Serve with tomato sauce or green chutney.

Step 6

Tip: Serve it hot. Its aroma is so tempting.
