Ingredients

Directions

Step 1

Cut banana, onion, chillies and curry leaves into very small pieces.

Step 2

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl or a plate except red chilly.

Step 3

Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan.

Step 4

Add fenugeek and red chilly.

Step 5

When red chilly turns brown, add the above mixture and close with a lid.

Step 6

Cook, till done.

Step 7

:- Serve as a side dish for rice.

We use plantains for the dish (Raw bananas).

hey,could anyone tell me is this banana (yellow )that we get here in US, that we eat simply after food or is it raw banana ? i would like to try this dish ,please reply ASAP. thanks!

i think it would be better if the banana is steamed before mashing
